Will FastTT bars fit my bike?
FastTT Aero Bars are the most versatile system available. They will bolt directly onto all bikes that have standard elbow cups, including mono risers, twin post and standard road bars. Before you purchase your carbon aero handlebars it's important to plan how you will mount them, in order to include the correct spacers, angled wedges and mounting bolts in your order.
The following information will assist you in making the best product choice. For all of the following installation options YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE the appropriate length and diameter bolts to suit your setup. Click here for bolts.
NOTE: Our bars are NOT supplied with pre-drilled bolt holes. Pre-drilled holes can severely limit your setup options. The FastTT mounting system allows you to position your new bars exactly to your personal fitment and position. You or your fitter will need to drill the mounting bolts holes in the base pad. It's not difficult, but it does require a bit more technical input. Click here to view aero bar installation guides for more detail.
The following are the most common mounting options for Tri and TT bikes...
STANDARD CLIP-ON BRACKETS
If you are mounting to standard clip-on brackets you can generally adjust the angle of the brackets on the base bar to create the required angle for your arms. In this installation example the extension bars and elbow cups would be removed.
To achieve the correct bar height you may need to add spacers between the bars and the brackets.

MONO RISER STACK
For bikes with mono risers you can mount the bars to the elbow cup brackets. You may require our adjustable angled riser or wedges to create the correct angle for your arms (some models have angle adjustment in the mono riser unit).
We also have adapter plates for several models which replace the cup/bar bracket - learn more.
Height can be adjusted by changing the spacers supplied with your bike or extending the riser post. The extension bars and elbow cups would be removed.

TWIN RISER STACK
In this example of a twin riser system, you would mount the bars to the twin riser posts.
Our bars will bolt to the existing spacers and you can add our adjustable angled riser to create the required angle for your arms. Alternatively you can replace the original spacers with our matching spacer and wedge system to create a neat and streamlined finish.
The extension bars and elbow cups would be removed.

Because our aero bars are not pre-drilled, they provide a large flat mounting base area that enables you to position them in a wide range of placements in order to fit your exact setup. With extensive left/right, forward/back options you're not restricted to a pre-drilled setup that may not suit you. The visual below shows just how versatile FastTT Aero Bars are!
FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE ON AERO BARS
You also get free shipping on any accessories when you INCLUDE them with your bar order.
NOTE: If you order accessories SEPARATELY in a different order there is a shipping charge, so please ensure you order your accessories WITH your aero bars to get free shipping on all items.
If you have any questions about mounting your bars, please email us. It's helpful if you include photos of your cockpit and current mounting setup.
ADJUSTABLE COMPUTER MOUNT
Our Tri and TT bars feature our unique adjustable computer mount. It ensures your computer can be set straight irrespective of inward/outward bar angle, by turning the computer mount to the desired position and tightening the fixing screws.
DRILLING MOUNTING HOLES
Please note that FastTT Aero Bars require mounting holes to be drilled in the elbow cups by the customer (or mechanic/fitter). We don't pre-drill any mounting holes as that would restrict the set-up and prevent fine-tuning to each athlete's exact requirements. Please refer to our bar installation guide to ensure you are comfortable with this requirement before ordering.
